The defect is in linea alba. Herniation occur outside the umblical ring. Stranglution is very common.Inguinal Hernia
Failure of the upper part of peritoneal sac to close as it descends to scrotum. In female: a similar sac extends to labia. Hydrocele: is a hernial sac with tiny caliber extend to the scrotum.
Diveracation of the recti muscle
Weak thin linea alba causing separation of both rectus muscule with fusiform bulge in the midline.Epigastric Hernia
It is a defect in the linea alba situated anywhere between the umblicus and xiphesterun.Incisional Hernia
