Life cycle of odontoblast
Korff's fibers (corkscrew fibers) passing between odontoblasts and reach predentin.
The question of the origin of these fibers is controversial.

1- First dentin mineralization starts by matrix vesicles then the mineralization process continued by deposition of apatite crystals around and within collagen fibrils.2- Basically mineralization occurs by globular or calcospheric calcification, which involves the deposition of crystal in several discrete areas of matrix with continued crystal growth globular masses are formed that continue to enlarge and fuse to form a single calcified mass
3-When these large globular masses fail to fuse fully leaving small areas of uncalcified matrix known as interglobular dentin.
