urinary bladder anatomy in the female from snell anatomy

Very imp..what is its difference in course between-male & female

Apex or Ant
Post.surface or base
Sup.surface of bladder

Course of urinary bladder in female

As in male the bladder is situated just behind pubic bones (as in previous picture)..because of absence of prostate in female …so the bladder lies at lower level in pelvis than male.the neck rests directly on urogenital diaphragm…………
1)the apex:-lies behind upper margin of symphysis pubis.
2)base or post.surface :-is separated by vagina from rectum.
3)sup.surface :-is related to uterovesical pouch + body of uterus.

4)the inferolateral surface is related:-

A)infront:-to retropubic pad of fats.
B)post:-to obturator internus + levator ani muscle.

5)the inf.angle or neck:- rests on urogenital diaphragm .

Post .or base ….sup.surface….location of bladder.
