Pancytopenia resulting from aplasia of the B.M, classified into primary and secondary types.
Pancytopenia: Reduction in the blood count of all major cell lines (RBCs, WBCs and Plts)
PathogenesisReduction in the number of haemopoietic pluripotential stem cells

A fault in the remaining stem cells
or:
Immune reaction against them

At any age with a peak incidence ~ 30 yrsMale predominance

Hypoplasia in the B.M
